This is a restaurant/food shop menu app for easily ordering food from any eatery. Customers can order food by:
Scanning a QR code on the table. As soon as the QR code is detected the menu will appear. This is the primary focus of the app and we’d like to have QR scanning mode on the home screen of the app.
By selecting the restaurant suggested by the app based on users current location. We’d like to display the suggestion on the home screen if the app detects the user is in the perimeter of a restaurant.
Searching the name of a restaurant or name of food.

REQUIREMENT: Design for pages described below must be provided for:
* Android App
* iPhone App
* Responsive Web App
A design document outlining the colour scheme/theme (background, foreground etc), text size and styles, any resource used (high quality if an image file has been used).

NOTE: DESIGN ONLY, NO CODING, this is a designer's project. Adobe XD preferred.

Following are the pages required:
Home page: Should open QR scanning mode, i.e. camera viewport. Should also show current restaurant suggestion if the app detects that the user is at a restaurant based on location. Home page should have option to search, settings and shopping cart.
Menu page: Once the user selects a restaurant or scans a QR code, the menu for the restaurant will appear. Menu items are grouped by category as defined by each restaurant. Menu items may or may not have images. Menu items may or may not have a description. It’ll be great if part of the description and some image(s) for each menu item can be shown on this page without making clutter. There should be add button to add the menu item to the shopping cart. Each menu item may have zero to many attributes such as Vegan/Vegetarian, Spicy Level, GF etc. When options are available they must be displayed. Attributes may be displayed as Icons, such as chili for spice level. There should be option to open the details for the menu which is the next page.
Menu Item Details page: Contains all information of the menu items, the description, the images, food type such as Vegan, Vegetarian etc etc. Menu item can also be added to the shopping cart from this page.
Shopping cart page: Displays a list of menu item orders. Users can pay items in cart from this page.
Search landing page: Will show a list of places nearby. If the app detects the user is at a location of a restaurant, it’ll suggest that at the very top of the list under a separate section.
Search Result page: Search by menu or search by restaurant. Shows a list of eateries or a list of menu items. For menu items, needs to show display the name of the restaurant.

We also need the design for the merchant app. Prefer this to have different colour or slightly different design to distinguish from the customer app. Pages include:
Orders page, this will be the landing page of the app. Will show current outstanding orders. There will be options to go to settings, edit restaurant menu items page.
Edit restaurant menu items page: will show list of menu items by category. Category names can be changed from here. Menu items can be dragged to move to different categories. Menu items can be added and deleted. New categories can be added and deleted. An edit button that'll show edit restaurant details page
Edit restaurant details page: this page will have controls to edit details of the restaurant, add location etc.
Edit menu item page: Add menu details, ability to add attributes such as Vegetarian/Vegan, Gluten Free etc, add photos, edit price, lock menu (so that it cannot be ordered) etc

NOTE: The Web App (website) requires a design for each corresponding page in mobile apps.

Preference: Simple plain easy on the eye design. Not too heavy image intensive designs that will take long to load in the browser, too hard to design as mobile app and too resource hungry. Design using any UI framework such as Twitter Bootstrap, Materia-UI, Metro-UI etc. is encouraged.

Hey Adobe XD is preferred is it not necessary? I work mainly on Photoshop. So I can submit layered PSD Files.

I read the description of the contest. Do you have logo, if so please provide that so that we would get the color, typography and style You need customer and merchant for mobile app and there is no details for web app.

  if you want web app the same as mobile app then how can user scan qrcode from web ? Means some features will be eliminated ?
  
  And USD 400 is not a contest price for both mobile and web app, its 1-to-1 project price. To bring good designers to the contest it should be atleast USD 600. So please #increaseprize

  Yes, the home page will be the only thing that'll be eliminated, perhaps replaced with search page.
