My new default page for Freelancer
Default page for Freelancer With almost zero requirements, this project was a blast designing. After sorting through Freelancer's current site, I structured the content to appeal to all target audiences while keeping the high level call to actions prominent. Browsing through the current website, I found it difficult to obtain a clear understanding on how exactly it works. My main goal for the header was to make each step in the process as clear as possible so users could easily grasp it. To reflect each step in the process, I created tabs that cycle through each segment paired with a video or a walk through demo of that particular section. Another thing I wanted to be aware of while designing this template was to shorten the overall height so users wouldn't be overwhelmed with too much information during their first experience. Following the header, I chose to highlight a featured designer with a customer testimonial, along with several reasons why people should use Freelance.com.
