Take the challenge to get in conversation – commit to a day –and see what happens when you start talking – out loud! To people! Try it and share your experience!
Get in Conversation is a movement to get people back into having live interaction with other people instead of only communicating by email and text. Why? Because email and texting are not always the best medium for the message. When building rapport, resolving conflicts, and looking for immediate answers – whether for work or in your personal life – a phone call or in person visit is actually more efficient and certainly more personable. You may just be surprised at how effective you can be at work and in life when you stop typing and start talking. By getting into conversation, you will find yourself connecting with people in more meaningful ways.
Don’t have time to “get into conversation”? Consider the amount of time for a phone call compared to an email that copies 5 other people, creates confusion, has ambiguous tone – and now 6 recipients are potentially reading and re-reading your message to interpret your tone, writing and re-writing their response, and all the time spent by your colleagues being kept in the loop via being copied on all the back and forth. This is a delusion of a conversation – it becomes a ping pong game of written words bouncing back and forth over the course of an hour, a day, a week even! It is next to impossible to overcome objections by email. Take the plunge and pledge to get in conversation for that hour, day or week – and see what happens!
Take the case that we are spending more time than ever on email at work today than we ever could have imagined. Is it really the most efficient channel for communication for every business interaction? Is it really the best way to close a sale? What better way to make connections with a client than to have them hear the enthusiasm in your voice, to hear the concern in their question, and clarify misconceptions in the moment. In conversation, you can tell people what you wouldn’t otherwise type, and what is more believable to hear in a live voice – things like: “ your business is important to me” “it was really great talking to you today” and “hearing you explain that has made it very clear”.

Design should be an image or shape that is easily recognizable is used to represent the project
Design should lean toward being more youthful, classic, playful, simple and obvious
A for colours, I like pink and royal to navy blue... However I am lot set on colour and am very open to ideas
