  Hi Carl. The contest only allows picture files to be uploaded. I think many of us are frustrated as we can't upload Word files. Are you able to change it to allow Word files? If not you may want to contact the freelancers individually so they can send you their entries in readable form. Thanks.

     Once a winner is chosen, he/she can upload the file in the correct format for the contest holder privately in a process called "contest handover". After the approval of the file by the contest holder, the contest price money is transferred. If the files will be uploaded in correct format now, there are a lot more chances for them to be misused by someone. There are reasons for them to be shown as image file(s). Everything is systematic.
