**Background Information**
The website (presently in its raw script state) is a new start up site specialising in legal freelancing in Australia. The site will operate on the same basis as all the other freelancing sites around but specialising in law and restricted to Australian lawyers. As the name implies (legalcrowd.com.au), it’s about gaining access to a pool of lawyers across Australia as opposed to being restricted to lawyers in the local area. Any image/s used should try to convey this point rather than the typical stock photos of someone in an office looking like a lawyer.

**Brief**
We need a main page for the site that has great UX design. One page only. See the current page of the script at the address above which you will see is responsive. This is what is being replaced. Logo has been uploaded in psd- remove any border. We want the following to be incorporated into the homepage
- the slogan "Right Knowledge, Right Result".
- a list of certain jobs similar to the “recent contests list” seen on the freelancer contest site. However, that will be tabbed (or such other way that works well) to allow the following to be selected/viewed “Featured” and “Urgent” jobs.
- a map of Australia incorporated somewhere to show each State (all 8 of them) and a "National" link which will link to different pages.

The site is responsive, so keep this in mind. Also, don’t just carbon copy the layout of any existing freelancing sites or clones (we don’t want to get into trouble) or just rearrange what is there now, we are looking for you to show us your design skills. We understand that some similarities of concepts are inevitable with these sort of sites, but try to do something unique that can set us apart from other sites.

**Page Layout**
We a relying on your design skills to show up what the page layout should be. Draw from your experience as to what you would want to see on the main page (incorporating the elements we want stated above).

**Header**
The header should remain relatively unchanged, but the colour can be changed if you feel it’s necessary.

**Footer**
Use what is there but add an “About Us”, "Blog" and “FAQ” link.

**Images**
Any stock images used, we will purchase the image from the respective site. If requested, you will need to provide a link to such images so we can check the price and licencing terms. If the licencing is unacceptable, we will give you the opportunity to find another image. We will only do this if we shortlist your entry for final consideration.

**Logo**
You can change the colouring to fit your design. We also want to incorporate a slogan onto the main page which is “Right knowledge, right result”. The slogan is saying that for Australian legal problems, the best results will come from Australian lawyers – this will be explained further in our ‘About Us’ static page.

**Further Work**
Yes, there will be further work (and we really mean that). Impress us with a great design and we will be inviting you to do some other pages for us and a future project next year.

**HTML or PSD**
Either is fine, but obviously a bonus for us if you can provide final in html. However design is more important to us. Please indicate if you can supply in HTML as part of the competition prize so we can take that into account.

**Feedback**
We will monitor the contest regularly and provide feedback where appropriate and rate designs. We don’t like to reject entries, so if we really don’t like an entry, we will either not rate it or give it one star (which means we don’t like it, but appreciate the effort). We will reject entries where necessary if they are not reflective of this brief or aren't proper entries. We expect you to regularly check for feedback for any entries you submit.

**Extension**
We won’t extend the competition time, please complete all work before the competition closes. We may award early if we see a winning entry, so don't leave submitting your

Thanks to all who have submitted so far, just to clarify things - the current home page needs to be replaced - which means that all Agriya references and marketing etc is to be removed. The only thing/s that remain relatively intact are the header and footer details. Logo colour can be changed to suit the site as it's just a default colour. Page should be bright/vibrant so please limit use of dark colours.
