I would like a logo and pair of mascots designed for my company RawDelivery www.RawDeliveryMN.com.
I would like the mascots to be a dog and cat.
I would like them to be simple characters who look friendly.
I would like them provided to me in a variety of poses for varied uses.
I prefer the dog to look similar to a German Shepherd, it can have some "mixed breed" type looks, like an cute floppy ear. I will attach some files of thing I like, and don't like.

I will offer a bonus if the logo and mascots are ideal for me.

I like my current logo, so I think I want something similar or with the mascots included, but I am open to new designs as well. You are the creative one! My design was pieced together unprofessionally by me, so it should be cleaned up at the least.

A bit about my company. www.RawDeliveryMN.com I sell raw meat products for people to feed their dogs, cats and ferrets. They are carnivores and thus require meat. Raw feeding is a natural diet for them and many customers are very into "natural" type products, ideas. I delivery the orders currently, this may continue or I may go to shipping them, but either way my business is based on delivery, not customers visiting a store. You can see products that I offer on my website. Bare bones (typical "dog bones") are not ideal as part of my logo since I do not encourage such things to my customers, but if done in a cute way may be acceptable. I encourage meaty bones be fed, along with bigger chunks of meat of whole animals. People feed roasts, whole ducks, chickens and rabbits, turkey legs, pork ribs etc. Some do feed ground or premixed food, but a typical "dog bowl" is not common with my customers. Think more of how a wolf or tiger eats.

Some photos showing colors I like, blue, green, purple. I would like the logo to work well on a blue or tan shirt/hat etc. I want the characters to be 2-3 colors with simple lines.

I want a simple character that looks friendly, but not too goofy or too cartoony. I want it to look like a Shepherd, but not too realistic, not like it is a drawing of a real dog. It should be easy for you to redraw in poses in the future if I need something specific, or for someone else to recreate if you are not available (something simple enough to be quick to redraw). The beagle soaring with blue background shows the simple type of lines I like. My website also shows the blue/green I like, but I am flexible on a new color scheme or maybe blue as the background. The dog and cat don't have to have traditional colors ie black and brown Shepherd, they can be blue/green for example. I don't really have any preferences on the cat, a ferret would be a nice bonus character, but I know they are trickier to create.

I have added caption to the photos to show what I like and dislike.

Future projects that will come out of this will be business cards, brochures, clothing etc. possibly a website rebranding. I am open to suggestions as well.

Entry #100 has the lower fangs on them. But I'll have to submit one more I've cleaned a bit in terms of spacing and re-sizing RAW and DELIVERY to accommodate the fangs.

Somebody shared an idea with me, please don't mind that we aren't artists. The new file "sketches" were some ideas. Much simpler, and focus on the mascots and name.

I am thinking it would be nice to go with my original "RawDelivery" logo, but add a smaller MN.com on to the end of it in a complimentary color so people can find me.

Did you see my file of logo ideas? I was looking at a friends Facebook profile and came across the thumbnails of the pages she likes.

I was noticing how some of the thumbnails looked bad, were cut of on the sides because they weren’t square or were to complex and in such a small size it was hard to tell why they were. Others used just a part of their logo for the thumbnail, one was a paw print with a circle around it, but no indication of a company name or anything, the other was just a dogs head, again no words. I want my logo to be seen well and I want people to understand it is raw pet food I deliver. I think my name shown with the mascots can do that.

  Do you want the mascot and accompanying logo? the mascot will be a part of logo? the mascot will chasing the delivery truck? And if it is thumbnail size, the mascot will be small and become secondary characters and i think should not such. With my design, the mascot is a part of logo and very highlight with your name of company. And it has the ratio of square so you don't need to worry that when thumbnails looked bad. Because it will still be very prominent and clearly. Thank you.

  Good point. I know it will be small in thumbnail, but I hope to use the mascots enough in other ways that people will recognize them even in tiny sizes. I would really like the logo to have some feel of "delivery" to it.

It would be nice if someone would try making a logo that is close to my original with the fangs on the "W" of "Raw", or is my original but with mascots added creatively. It is in the file posted that says "logo" in the title.

mhldesign I appreciate that you have looked at my new file that shows two designs I like and would like to merge to a new design. However, I stated that I wanted it to have two eyes, and feet instead of hooves. I also wanted it to not be so close to the original artists work, while yours has a few small differences, I would still identify it as a copy of the original.

Please be sure you will be able to draw the mascots from all angles. Side, front, sitting, standing, playing, running....

Especially if you are going to just copy parts of another image I submitted as an example.

I want a dog that looks half way between cartoonish and real. A dog that I can use in different situation, like on a tutorial where he would be your guide. So I want him to be cartoony enough to be seen as a "talking dog" if he looks too realistic, having the basic shape and stance as a real Shepherd, I feel that he doesn't look personable enough and isn't believable as a guide or "talking dog".

Like Garfield, you don't mind him having a "voice" in a cartoon, but if he was drawn to look exactly like a cat, it wouldn't feel the same.
