We want a modern take on an old American icon, the barbershop quartet. Would like to see a straw boater hat (sample image attached) leaning on top of a barber pole (sample image attached). Remember, the key here is the design needs to have a MODERN feel despite the oldness of the items in the logo. No words necessary for the logo, but we are looking for a unique and creative spin on these ideas.

i think its really obvious that my work is the original because i submitted first, i'm number 9 and the number 20 just edited what i did and i hope you see that it's from two different people.

I'm a little confused. How do 2 entries (9 and 20) have the exact same barber pole yet both have to verify that the logo is of their own creation?

  I think there is a misunderstanding. We are not a barbershop -- a place for haircuts. We area barbershop quartet -- a singing group. Please read the contest description to see the elements we require in the design.
