Design a Logo for a mayoral candidate

Mayor.

This is a set of logo, banner/ad and a door hanger. please provide feedback in order to improve or change this and continue with other stuff, such as cards, etc. I've read competitors are using a blue/red/white scheme so I've tried a simple trick. Red is an eyecatching colour so I changed red into yellow, which is also eyecatching (even more combined with blue). it's not a disgusting light yellow, it's warmer (almost golden). Indeed it can be print with gold ink if prefered. Blue is a color that means trust and confidence. I've used a circle shape that includes a road. The road is a symbol of progress, and of course, a path to the future. At the end of the road (the purpose) there is the people, they are the goal of the politics. i've used a Bold typography for the name and a handwritten for the slogan, as if they were his words. I've included provisional City and year. Banner also has a graphic synthesis that needs to be done when i know the 'real face' (synthetic or real)
