Contest Brief

Thank you for looking at my contest.

I am a new naturopath looking for a logo to use on business cards and stationery. For now, I will be practicing under my own name (Erin Quint).

The logo should consider the following motto, which supports my approach:
Choose Health
Change Habits
Achieve Happiness

I provide goal-centered health consultancy, meaning that I work with my clients to develop a clear treatment plan with clear objectives/actions on how they will reach those goals.

Also, my practice supports sustainability in all forms, from making lifestyle changes that are sustainable to prescribing products from sustainable sources (eg. not depleting our ocean resources)

The logo should be professional, clean and timeless. (No rainbows or people meditating please!)

The winner may have the opportunity for further work on designing brochures, website, social media, etc.

Unfortunately there are quite some logo's submitted here that are copied directly from "free logo websites" and only a few logo's are unique designs. It's not allowed to copy another designers work and the contest holder can get into serious legal trouble if he proceeds with a logo that belongs to another person or company.

  You are welcome. I don't mean to make things more difficult for you. Without naming names and by giving people a chance to submit new design and withdraw copied ones, for now I would like to suggest to you to visit http://www.shutterstock.com/ and search for "green icons" or "eco friendly" or any descriptions of the icon used in a design that caught your eye. Certain designs you see there CAN be bought by bought by Freelancer "designers" and used for re-designs, but they would have to give YOU the rights or change them to the extend that they aren't really recognizable anymore and basically use them for inspiration.

  Another suggestion I can make is to copy the image URL of a submitted design and paste it into Google Images - search. It will give you an option to view "similar images". Tricky thing though is that YOUR name is added to the design and therefor makes it more difficult for Google to find exact copied images of the icon that is used in designs. Hope this helps you a bit for now.

Thank you for your submissions so far.
I am new to this, so please guide me if I am not providing feedback in the right place.
I do like the simplicity of #6 and #1, but I feel like the leaf is over used in the natural health industry.
I also like that #5 is incorporating the motto but it is a bit heavy and dark.
I like that #2 is a bit unusual but I think that the detail won't be appreciated at the small size it will have to be on a business card.
