We need a logo for our business SomeSurplus, a reseller of surplus products - typically hard goods, tools, trade tools and supplies, fixtures, accessories, etc. Products are not limited to these lines, and can be virtually anything, Inventory is dynamic - turning quickly, new, repeats, limited, seasonal, etc. This is an multi-channel ecommerce as well as bricks and mortar business.

Logo will be used on business cards, stationary, labels, signage, web site and various other collateral. We need files appropriate for these uses.

Logo should project customer value, confidence in products and our company, etc. Bold colors are great. Fluorescent and other "eye demanding" colors are not - its about our company and our image, not trying to be obnoxious in our image. We are open to any colors, would actually like to see something in red/white/blue to consider - again we are open to whatever colors you determine - you are the smart ones, not us! I guess 2-color plus the paper color is cost effective for reproduction? Paper color is not limited to white; please consider only colors readily available in US print shops.

Yes, you certainly can, if I read correctly. Additional winners get the same prize amount - do you think paying double for a project is good business? What would the incentive be to excel and not come in second best? Thanks for your input,

Ladies and gentlemen, we are down to two finalists out of an amazing 115 entries. Most of what we saw was excellent. The final 8 were almost tied, so getting down to two has been challenging. We can't possibly acknowledge all the entries, there are so many. We have rejected all but the finalists. We hope that those not making the cut continue to create - and we certainly appreciate your interest in our project!

There's some talented people out there and we've received some amazing entries! There is a leader, but the leader is not safe as (s)he has 8 others right on his/her heels. We've had some sharp entries thus far, thanks! Remember the company deals in surplus products. Not salvage, not thrift store material, but surplus new and like new items. When considering graphics, please understand the nature of the beast - in effect it's repurposing excess (for whatever reason) goods into the secondary market, Thanks!
