We need a Logo! Please use a raster graphics editor like Photoshop or GIMP. I want a logo where I can edit layers. If you are a graphic artist, you know what I am talking about. Thanks!

DON'Ts:

1) Don't use an Online Logo Generator. They look cheap, they are obvious, and you will not get the prize.
2) Don't Copy another logo. I eventually want to trademark this logo.
3) Don't use Gradients or Embossed Letters or anything that looks like the logo was made before 2010.

DO's:

1) Spend 1-2 hours of your time sketching something original. Then import that sketch into Photoshop to create a "layered" logo. If you use another program, that is fine. I just need to be able to import it into Photoshop and edit the layers.
2) Make the logo Confident, Modern and Professional.
3) Choose any color palate of 2-4 colors. The logo should look great in Black & White.
4) You might want to experiment with creating a square logo and a common rectangular logo.

UPDATE 12/02/15 - I am getting a lot of "clipart" for the letter "A"... please try to avoid that. Also, if you are going to use a picture of a Cloud, please try to be subtle about it. Hide it somehow.

You could put the word "ALQUIRE" in a box and have the outline of the box one color, the font another color and the inside of the box a 3rd (or clear) color.

It appears that many of you are having difficulties finding a creative and meaningful image to use next to the company name. I would like to suggest some solutions if you are struggling:

1) Use only the name of the company as the logo: "ALQUIRE" (all capitals, no Inc.)
2) Use only the name of the company as the logo: "Alquire, Inc." (lowercase, with Inc.)

NOTE: The font used is very important to me and it appears that using the wrong font will give the wrong emotion.
