A young construction company is looking to expand in a competitive market. They need an identity with a professional looking logo.

Company Name: Ames Contracting

Tag Line: From the roof to the floor and so much more.
(Also try tag line: No job too small. We do it all!)

Logo concept:
They do not want a cheesy look. It should be somewhat clean, not cartoony at all, very professional and convey construction
Mostly font-work but images are okay (just nothing corny like two hammers crossed, etc.)
Need a real creative concept that a regular person could connect with and understand.
Full color concepts are encouraged but try to avoid a lot of Lime green, yellow, orange, pink. and DO NOT use lime green, yellow and orange altogether.
Design should be appropriate for - business cards, paperwork, side of truck, shirts, etc.
At end, they need a version for dark and light backgrounds (or one version that works for both)

Quick turnaround DECISION WILL BE MADE WITHIN 4 days at the latest! Could make a decision BEFORE the contest officially ends. Need something GOOD!!
