     One other thing to consider if you would like to hear. The main word "Summit" should be the largest word if stacked. Scaling down "computers" to the same width as "summit" will help with summitry and the flow you have created with the summit triangles. As your logo is now, my eye is getting distracted and is being pulled off to the right and I loose sight of the whole logo.

  From your attached current logo, are you only looking for mountains to be incorporated for the word "summit"? Do you simply like mountains best? Do you want to keep the mountains in to help stay familiar with your current clients and your brand?

     From reading the description you posted, I am a little confused on what you guys actually do? looking at "Summit Computers", I would think you sell just computers.
     
     You said that you provide "computer systems for both personal and commercial clients". I assume that it has something to do with you setting up a computer with all the needed hardware and software that I would specifically need. It is not just like going to wal-mart to pick up a computer in a box. If I am incorrect please let me know.
     
     "Sydney IT Professionals", do you also offer IT support? Just the words Summit Computers does not let me know this IT option. There could be also any number of other services you provide that we are not aware of, and may not matter to be mentioned. I bring this up because you said you are looking for simplicity, which I myself love also, and would like to make sure that the logo simply communicates the company to the end user.

     So If you are already re-branding, are you open to the idea of a full name change as well to help communicate to your target what you do? If I am confused on what the company does, it is possible others will also and pass you by. Either a new slogan or different wording for the actual logo could help this. Unless you feel the word "computers" covers all the details, then I apologize for wasting time.
     
     Looking at your competition I am seeing a lot of companies using the word "Computing". Take a look at this link

     Have you guys done any key-word research of what people are actually typing into searches to find a company like you?
