Contest Brief

We are an online Crystal Retailer. We import and sell semi-precious gemstone specimens, gemstone cravings and giftware.

We are in need of a new logo, and upon finding a suitable one, we would hope the awarded freelancer would also do the website mockup in the same theme as the logo.

We require a logo that is versatile to be used both horizontally and vertically. And we also require an "emblem" for use with watermarking photos etc.

Please note we are not a jewellery store and rarely sell faceted gems.

I have attached some photos of our products.
And our existing logo (001.jpg) and emblem (Emblem Alpha.png) is attached also.

Ok what the hell is going on? For the most part, these logos are rubbish. I've SEEN the quality of work that comes from most of you freelancers and it is amazing! You all have so much talent, but what is this crap? I KNOW you can do so much better. Think outside the box. AMAZING ME.

  We are commonly referred to as "CU" by our regular customers. That may or may not be of help to you when designing the emblem. I would like to see ideas.
