We need a logo for a new company called "D.B. Magee & Co." We'll pay $100 to the best submission (assuming, of course, we like it well enough to use it).
Once up and going, the company will provide investment management services to the individual investors. As background, we are a vibrant, innovative startup—not a dull old company. So, we don't want something that is too stuffy or old fashioned. On the other hand, we don't want something loopy either!
As for colors, we'll be using vibrant colors on the website (when we get to it) including greens, blues, oranges, and grays. If you want to see the color scheme, have a look at this website: www.GuardianCA.com. It’s not our website but our colors will be similar.
If we pick you, we'll need all rights and an Adobe Illustrator-editable version of the file.
As we will need other graphic services in the future, we see this as a good way to establish a relationship with a reliable outside resource.

The company will provide investment management services to individual investors. This is a vibrant, innovative startup in a formal conservative industry. Also, it's important that we keep the "D.B. Magee & Co." together and intact. Some of the submitted designs separate the "D.B." from the "Magee & Co." This won't work as I fear that investors will think the company name is "Magee & Co." and have difficulty finding us.
