I need a Logo for my project, Locinity.com, and a key piece of this logo is going to be used as the mobile app icon. It is currently in development.

Locinity is a mobile based picture news app where smart phone users drives the content. It is a "What is happening where you are" application. Each uploaded image/video gets geo-tagged. Viewing takes place based on your given location, or entered location, and then filtered by a number of criteria.. one being distance to given location. User is able to view in either image/post mode, or in map mode with pins on a map showing the location of the image/post.

Location + Vicinity = Locinity.

I see the 'O' in Locinity as a globe, with colored pins on it to represent post, sitting inside the frame of a camera lens. This part of the logo will also be used as the mobile app icon. The rest of the letters could be anything to buildings to nothing at all... just letters. I am thinking it may need to be a little cartoonish, but not too much. Use your imagination and impress me with your visions.
