An update of our 9 year old logo. Want to keep same branding but with a refresh. Maybe colour palate, maybe a twist on the current logo. We are an investment banking business. The current logo is intended to be a cross-section of a tree (with the ageing lines) pinched together a little. I don't really like the colours (am a bit bored with them) and because of the colours, the logo doesn't really stand out well enough in presentations and on documents.

So far.......we are a conservative business so anything too funky is too funky.

Like the updates on font and colour that simply make the same name and logo STAND OUT

And would love to see tree rings become, say, saturn rings (no-one has done this yet). Or...if the rings go around the "O" maybe

Could someone use the "T" in oaktower as a tree? and build the rings into the trunk? and I'd love either green and gold (maybe too hard) or really bright red

Final thought - Oaktower without a logo would be an interesting alternative - we have reasonable brand recognition, so maybe big bold oaktower may look really good
