I am looking for a logo designed for my legal practice. It is an estate planning and small business legal practice in Los Angeles, California.

I already have an idea for the logo that I have included as a basic image (ignore the coloring of the scale for the black scale, see below). The idea for the logo being the scales of justice, with a small house on one side and an office building on the other side. The scale should be balanced, not tipping in either direction.

Ideally, I would like the scale to be a brown color, the house to be green and the office to be blue. However, the shades, hues, etcetera of the colors are completely within your discretion.

Also, the size and shape of the houses and the scale are completely within your discretion, but try to keep the house on the left side and the office on the right. I would like the logo to be clear in many different sizes, as small as an icon and as large as a poster. The logo as a whole should look more modern, I want to move away from the traditional (read boring) legal practice look.

Lastly, there does not need to be any text in the logo, but if you think of a unique and appealing way of including my name and/or Attorney-At-Law feel free to submit it as an option.

I really love the extended scale base line in Entry 7 by Katace.
Entry 1, 19 and 15 have the best looking scales and office building and house.
Entry 10 and 9 have the best color for the scale.
If you add Roy Hadavi, Attorney-At-Law use BernhardFashion BT please.
I believe a combination of the above mentioned entries will be the perfect logo.
I am so excited about all the entries and I know we are close. Thank you all for your submissions so far.

Thanks for the 2 stars, I would have thought it would have gotten more, seeing as how I was the only one so far that followed the instructions in the brief.

  I actually liked your office building quite a lot. It's true you followed the directions, but funny enough I goofed on the placement of the office and house and everyone that did them backwards, did it right. That was totally my mistake. The house in your logo design looks like an arrow. Maybe if you modify it a little, a window or chimney or something will make it look more like a house. A different shade of brown, a little lighter, for the scale, and make the scale look a little more modern.

  I apologize if I offended you. New to Freelancer. The logo was simply too complex. I am looking for something more modern that moves away from the traditional legal practice look. If you are still interested please do submit something new with this reply in mind.

  I like your design the most so far. Can you give me some other options for the scale? Keep it similar to the current scale. Same thing with the office building. The house is great, don't need to do anything to it, unless you have some fun ideas. Also, if you could darken the scale a little. I think the brown may be too bright. Thank you.
