I am a German software developer living in China. Just set up a company here, ShuMa consulting, engaging in computer consulting etc. Now I need a logo for that company.
The name is made of my transliterated last name and my translated first name (not that this information really matters for the design :-) ), and literally means “comfortable/relaxed horse”, but it also in Chinese sounds close to “digital”, which is more in line with the business.
The Chinese characters are 舒马 (Unicode: 0x8212, 0x9A6C, HTML 舒&#39532), or in traditional characters: 舒馬 (Unicode: 0x8212, 0x99AC; HTML 舒&#39340). Either set is fine for the logo.

So now for the logo. Here are a few ideas, but of course you are not limited to those:
- A “digital horse” (or horse-head), i.e., a horse made up of zeroes and ones, with the characters 舒马 in it.
- The characters 舒马 made up of zeroes and ones.
- A horse made up of the strokes of 舒马 (this would probably require a Chinese artist who has some knowledge of calligraphy etc.)

I would like the logo to be scalable, i.e., available in vector format (personally, I am using GIMP).
Logo should be recognizable even in small sizes like icons.

Looking forward to any other great ideas that you can come up with…

Once more: thanks for all the hard and innovative work, and congratulations to Debasish5555 for #11 .
Sorry for taking so long to make the decision, but it really wasn't easy with so many good designs. In the end I went for a contribution that was more on the abstract side and that was original artwork.

Thanks for all the hard work so far! This will make it hard to choose a winner, too! I'm already sad that I'll have to disappoint a few of you, since there are so many good designs...
I should probably add that I think a background that fades into white towards the edges is more usable, e.g. on name cards... So if you're updating you could consider that. For the existing designs, since I'm expecting a file format that I can edit, I could also do it myself.
