I'm starting a project in my hometown, where young students/graduates will hold public talks about their thesis.
This comes from the idea, that after you put in a lot of effort and enthusiasm into writing your thesis, your knowledge and ideas stay isolated inside the university. The agenda is to find young graduates with topics that would interest the general public,and give them a platform to tell the world about their ideas.
The name, Stròk, means "clove" in slovenian, such as a garlic clove. We also use it for other types of vegetables/beans such as peas...
With a different accent, it also means "disciplines/fields" in plural, so the general idea is to show the inter-disciplinarity and connection between the different topics and lectures which will be held.

Izbira dizajnerja, bi mi bilo super, da se nekako pokriva z imenom (strok) in nakazuje na nek skupek, ki se medsebojno povezuje.
The elements are down to the designer, but i prefer if it can have a connection with the name "strok" - which as i said is a clove (garlic clove)/cluster in slovene language. As i also mentioned i would like it to represent the interdisciplinary link between different subjects/themes.- cách đây 11 năm
