Design a modern corporate logo for communications company

Before we start working on our new website, I would like to have the logo and the overall design for the company. I have no specific ideas about colours, although I do like RED, I just want the logo to be both flashy and simple at the same time

I'm giving artistic freedom with an open canvas to design the logo of TI Networks (www.ti.net.au). Make whatever you can think up as long as it's simple and not too complicated. I like very simple designs to give the website the identity of being simple and easy to use.
