  OK i can see the Aussie flag being done to death - I really dont think any of them can win as Aussie's dont look at themselves that way - so try something else apart from the flag, maps, koalas and kangaroos - lol :) Aussie's consider themselves to be technologically advanced (whether it is true or not) they see the country as very diverse and modern (whether that is true or not), They see themselves as great sportsmen even though they get beat by other coutries - so they have some pride. - so howabout head towards the wow factor with good taste and cultured - If possible - great effort by you all - Thanks Kev :)

     it is an australian forums hence the 'au' at the end of forumsau - but it has about 20% other nations who have posted on it. so I will leave it to you to do something that wows :)

  Thanks for invitation! I'll be happy to meet your expectations with my designs. I want to make clear, if there is a message to be on the banner, or not? What is the purpose of the banners? I am asking because information on a banner should be clear, and the design is affected by the content of the message.

     There is no text needed (but still ok to have some if you like) on the www.forumsau.com banner - but the www.newsau.com banner will have 'Australian News' and a small 4 to 7 word slogan - in text over the banner. so leave some room somewhere on that one. Thanks and good luck :)
