I am setting up a business to provide a range of products/services for the elderly to promote independent living.

Products will include stair lifts, hoists, scooters, walking aids, bathing aids etc

The business will operate both online and offline.

Sales will be to care homes, local authorities, hospitals and direct to the public so both B2B and B2C.

The name of the business is MobilityPlan.

MobilityPlan is all one word, with a capital 'M' and a capital 'P', although 'Mobility' and 'Plan' could be in different colours or different styles - I will leave this open to your ideas.

The strapline is: Independent Living Solutions.

The logo should incorporate the strapline but should also work well standalone if necessary.

I am looking for a logo (incorporating strapline), letterhead (including Word template), compliments slip, and business card design.

The design will need to work well primarily on a white background and will be used on a website, in stationery, in printed materials including brochures and as part of van/vehicle graphics.

I am looking to promote a very professional, striking, simple and clean corporate identity.

The logo could be completely abstract or could relate to the business in some way - I am open to ideas. Keywords that the logo should communicate are MOVEMENT, TRAVELLING FORWARDS, FREEDOM, MOBILE. But remember my customers are elderly and disabled people so the movement will be slow and controlled and not RACING, SWOOSHING, RUNNING OR FLYING!!

Please use discretion with regards to colours and fonts. I want the design to be simple but modern and 'state of the art' so please use bold, strong (2013) colours a bold font and something that will catch the eye. I would suggest 2 or 3 colours maximum but will leave to you to decide. I like Red, Blue and Dark Grey together but open to suggestions.

I want something that is original, simple and exudes quality!

I would like to receive the final designs in PSD, EPS, JPG, GIF TIF and PNG formats.

UPDATE: I have attached a few files containing some ideas that might inspire you and a copy of the current logo which I am trying to replace. An updated and improved version of the current logo might work, or a completely new design. I am open to your ideas.Thanks.

What about a simple graphic like in the attached file 'graphic for mobilityplan logo'. Could look like a person riding on a mobility scooter or stairlift from above and also a rolling wheel suggesting movement? Could anyone create something similar and combine it with a logo?Thanks

Hi. Does anyone have any new ideas for a simple but bold graphic that communicates movement, mobility and enablement. It is a tricky one I know! Some excellent ideas so far. However, many of the ideas are a bit 'over the top' in terms of the freedom of movement they are communicating. Remember that my target audience is elderly and often disabled so movement is very slow, controlled and steady. Elderly people tend not to throw their arms up in the air and they don't fly through the air either. I think the graphic needs to be fairly abstract if possible and not too much emphasis on trying to look like a person.. Just some thoughts, hope they help. Please keep the ideas flowing. The quality of the entries is getting much better. Thanks for your efforts.

Circles, curves or spheres might work, giving the feeling or movement and mobility but don't feel too constrained by this. Just an idea. Please keep the ideas coming!

Hi, thanks for entries so far. Some interesting ideas. #1 and #16 and #17 would not be appropriate as personal alarms are only a minor part of the product range and generally are not recognised a mobility product. Am not very keen on 'product' images at all as they can look a bit clip art like. Would prefer more abstract ideas. Would quite like to see a simple but striking symbol alongside the logo or incorporated within the words in some way. If it can relate to the business in some way, great, but not essential. In terms of colours I like strong red, dark grey, electric blue, vibrant green, orange. Not keen on purple or yellow. Hope this helps.
