Most designers need directions and detailed feedback over and over and over again. This is because they don't understand why they are doing what they are doing. I am looking for those rare few who cherish (and even crave) autonomy and want to be tested in a head-to-head battle with an existing winning page. This is for those designers who don't mind stepping into the ring! :)

I'm looking for 4 landing page mockups based on the following presentation by marketing experiments (see below).

*** This doesn't not MEAN 4 times more work. In fact 3 templates are simplify reformats of existing designs (see the video/slide-show).

Only dummy-text is required - feel free to mimic a headine, pre headline, bullets, testimonials, guarantees, call to action, and other icons/images that help improve conversion on landing pages.

Basically if the dummy text is replaced with real words, this page is ready for launch.

PURPOSE OF WEBSITE:
Explain a high-end unique hair/beauty product and with a button to place an order (Call to action)

You must use the photographs attached. Images for marketing icons, buttons etc is at your discretion.

Contest Assessment Criteria:
1) You adherence to proven conversion principles but by all means do include an option for a wildcard entry. Sometimes you need to break the rules to succeed.

2) Design/Colour combination

3) Completeness of your design - i.e. If you replace the dummy text then you can put this online for testing. So don't forget things like footer, header (if you're using it), button copy…

4) Your ability to create and delivery from a video and a few words as guidance.

Conversion is about following principles not just aesthetics - just because it's pretty doesn't mean it will convert.

This contest will be advantageous to those whose designs have been split-tested.

You might want to do perform a couple of google searches and click on ads to see where you are landing. You will get more meaningful results on US google searches due to the high level of competition in the US.

The secret to getting this right is to watch the video and see a variety of landing pages on google before starting.
