Kanye West’s 2020 Presidential Campaign
Kanye's decision to run for president in 2020 generated a lot of controversy. This article explores the motives behind his entry into politics. Perhaps as a born-again christian, Kanye considered himself the best man for the job. However, the rapper lacks experience in governance and doesn't know how to run a state. The presidential run could also have been a ruse to siphon off votes from the Democratic party. If so, then the rapper was clearly unsuccessful as Biden won the elections. Most likely this was a publicity stunt, carried out to sell merchandise and rekindle Kanye's popularity.
