The NZ Skeptics are looking for a new symbol (or logo) based on ideas created by a couple of our members. We would like to see designs based on, or similar to, the designs in the attached images. Feel free to modify what is already there. It is important that there are NO WORDS in the design. This must be a standalone graphical design, WITHOUT the words “NZ Skeptics” or any other text.

The essential elements of the design are a kiwi bird AND a koru. The koru should at least suggest a question mark (?), to represent the questioning nature of skeptics.

A kiwi is a flightless bird native to New Zealand.

A koru is “a spiral shape based on the shape of a new unfurling silver fern frond and symbolizing new life, growth, strength and peace. It is an integral symbol in Māori art, carving and tattoos”.

A question mark, also known as the interrogation point, query, and eroteme, is a punctuation mark that indicates an interrogative sentence, clause, or phrase in many languages.

Please try to create a design that is visually similar to the ones in the attached images, with a kiwi bird and a koru. We are looking for simplicity in this design, and would like the end result to be delivered as a vector image, preferably an SVG.
