  i bookmarked this contest, but sadly it's already done. i didnt know that CH can select a winner even the deadline is not yet finish. to all who doesnt submitted yet, better luck next tym to us guys. btw, Congrats to the winner! =)

     Hi edbryan - A winner can be chosen at any time by the CH. My apologies for ending the contest early. I ran a long contest (it costs no extra) because the last time I ran a 1-week contest and wanted to extend it, Freelancer wanted a lot of money to extend it (maybe $75? I forget), but they would only extend for 3 days. That contest was not guaranteed, I didn't want to pay the extra for only 3 days more, and I did not choose a winner. We all lost. If you have a design, Is there a way I can see it? Thanks. ...Steve

  Hello Dedicated Designers,
  I didn't expect the contest to end so early. But as you may know by now I've chosen tarakbr (Tarak Brahmi) as the winner for the Home Page Website Design Mockup Contest.
  I'm writing to thank everyone for your entries. I enjoyed looking at and considering all of them. I very much appreciate the time and effort you all devoted in creating your designs. I actually feel honored that you chose to participate.

  I'm always looking for ways to improve. So if you feel as though you'd like to make any comments (positive or negative) about the contest, the winning design, or even about me as the contest holder, I'm all ears.

  As far as I can see right now, it appears I have decided on a clear winner, even though I have not formally clicked the "Award Prize" button just yet. So for the time being, and not to take up anyone's valuable time, please hold off on designing any more entries. However, if you have a design ready to submit anyway and want to submit, I would certainly like to see your work for future reference. I'm sure freelancer will notify when I have firmed up the design modification details, clicked the "Award Prize" button, and paid the winner.

     Hello rishiambwani - I'm about 99.9% sure on who the winner is even though I have not formally clicked the "Award Prize" button just yet. I'm waiting on his design changes. If everything goes as expected, then I will select him as the winner. Thanks for the HTML design offer, but I already have the website designer.   Sorry, I need to add some things...
  1. TEXT AREA: 500 words minimum - There should be enough area/space in the body to have at least 500 words of text (but it doesn't have to all be in the same section).
  2. BODY WIDTH: about 1024 pixels - The initial width of the body when it is seen on a PC should be around 1024 pixels (that way more content can be seen "above the fold" and people won't have to scroll down). Is that possible?
  3. FINAL FORMAT: PSD - The winner will need to present the final design in PSD format so HTML can be created and converted to WordPress. The WordPress creator will need to be able to convert your design into a grid system which will allow it to become a "responsive" website. Please design accordingly.

  The file name for cars.psd was supposed to be car.psd. Both names have now been uploaded. Both files are exactly the same.

  I reduced the size and re-uploaded and attached file halealoha_wide.jpg. 10 megs was just too big. It is now 1024 wide and 186 kb.
