Contest Brief

We require a series of isometric sprites to represent the furniture of a haunted mansion. The theme is horror/noir set in the 1920's, and the furniture style is a mix of Gothic Victorian and Art Deco.

The art is to be rendered in an inked comic-book style, resembling the work of Mike Mignola.

The default facing direction is south-west. Draw in mind that in most cases the sprites will be viewed at about 256px size.

We require the following sprites:
- 1x Book shelf
- 1x Office desk
- 1x King Bed
- 1x Wall Mirror
- 1x Console Table
- 1x Chaise
- 1x Sconce
- 1x Wardrobe
- 1x Arm Chair

The deciding factors will be:
- How well it blends with the existing tiles,
- Illustrated in the inked Mignola style
- Conveys the horror/noir atmosphere

For the winning entry, we would require the final images in either Photoshop or Illustrator formats with the line-art on a separate layer, and each individual sprite must be available in at least 512px size (preferably 1024px).

This is only the beginning of the project, and if successful there will be more work to come.

Thank you for your interest.

Isometric is where you are looking downwards at about a 30 degree angle. A common example of an isometric game would be The Sims.
