I wrote a book, and am looking for someone to illustrate it. Here is a link to the book the successful bidder will illustrate.

I am looking for someone to illustrate the entire book, to include the cover and title pages within 21 days of the end of the contest. Format will be similar to the link posted in terms of page count, and each page will have an illustration. Here are some styles from other books that speak to me from an art perspective (just look at cover):

From a project stage perspective, state 1 will be to do a very basic wireframe of the book to show the general items that will be on each page, then I get to make some suggestions, followed by which you can finish the final product.

I will own the rights to the original art as well as any and all digital usage rights to your work, but I will certainly credit your work on the cover (actually, you will!). Upon completion of the design, you will send me all original art, and format the book/upload the book to a book publisher of my choice.

Please illustrate the page "Sometimes, Daddy yells." (slide 3), so I can see how you would take things and help me to make a selection!

I will try to answers all comments in the description, but if I miss something please tell me.

Thank you to everyone who participated. I have down selected to six artists, then will further down select to three finalists, then discuss next steps with them. There really is some amazing art here, and I can't thank you enough for your interest. I wish you all well.

  I can't say anything was wrong per se. It was a four star, but I have a few five starts at this point. If I was going to be picky I could point to the finger being a little off, and perhaps lack of detail on the rest of the page besides where the girl was. I actually liked your art, there just are a few that I like a little more.
