A few years ago, I had an artist create a "comic book cover" of my kids as super heroes. Now that it has been a while, I'd like to create a third and final cover. I reached out to the original artist, but have not heard back so here I am. The original artist referred to her style as vector art. See attached images. I would like something in a similar vein. Maybe in this third and "final" comic cover, the boys team up with my mom & dad who themselves are superheroes? Have plenty of ideas to explore! Looking forward to seeing submissions.

Dear Contests- apologies for the late response, but had an unexpected travel need for work. After going back and forth- many, many, times- the award goes to Justin S. #70 ! Congratulations Justin for an amazing job! I would also like to mention the work done by Mario S. #90 , Megan M. #85 , Olamar G #75 , Jimmy P #91, and Guillermo C #67 . You were all favorites of each of us, but in the end, after secret ballot vote, #70 came in first place! Thank you everyone and will reach out directly for future work.

Everyone! Thank you so much for participating in my contest. This past weekend was a holiday weekend in the US, so my family and I were traveling home yesterday. I do want to let you know that this evening we will be making our selection an announce the award winner! I am stunned at the quality of work and variety of styles- very impressive! Again, I want to thank each and everyone one of you and appreciate your time and effort in making a special gift for my "Associates"! I will post again later this evening with the results!

MR MARK M, you write minimum 5 lines in every comment & entries why don't you write a graphics novel with your own illustration in it you have also enough money to publish it, you have the rare talent, use it for the greater good, save the world! :)

  Hi, Jimmy. What can I say? Been stuck doing a butt load of rendering this week end, my only good machines tied up - I freely confess to being at something of a loose end.... Has been rather fun though. Loved your updated new entry, BTW. The dog's the perfect finishing touch. Really not envying Alex, discounting my own effort entirely - it's been a seriously good show from some of our finest illustrators on the platform this time out. Really, really lovely to see. We don't get contests this good all that often. Definitely one to write home about. I'll tell you this much, whoever does walk with the award will have seriously earned it. Wish you the best, Jim.   Hello, Yuliya - beautiful name, btw - I'm not answering for the Contest Holder, but - if you want to put something in - it's probably best to knuckle down to it and assume it's going to close on time. BTW - I checked out your portfolio - lovely work. Was reading that thing you said about building a network around here - this is what Contests are for. Great way to build the work experience and rack up a few sales. Personally never touch anything else, no costs up front, really good way of quickly building a folio. Very little down side. Good luck with you're entry, assuming you make it in. My best, M : )

Everyone- the quality of the revisions and new submissions have been outstanding! This really will be difficult to pick just one. Again, I am letting this run to the very end- one day left. I will say this- from what I’m seeing, I will want to work with many of you in the future. So if you don’t win this contest, there will be opportunities for future project. Good luck!

  : )... Well, that's easy, it's faultless. Great composition, authentic comic layout - lovely style but I think, most importantly, you really nailed the likeness of Alex and his family. When looking at the boy characters the Client sees his boys, not Damien Wayne as drawn by somebody else copy and pasted twice and then covered with a load of crap to try and obfuscate what was actually done - this isn't what people come to Freelancer to buy - the work you've submitted is. Every last little thing a client could hope for. Beautiful, honest, well executed work. Faultless. My respect to you, Jimmy. My respect. M : )

Mark- thanks for the feed back. I get it. This project is a gift for my boys and as such I had them look at the designs as they were first coming in. They did get a little click happy and I wasn't paying attention until you started commenting. I've reject several of the entries and will be more discerning of the others. I just don't have much free time at the moment so I did do some glancing. I think you mentioned something about having tagged the bent entries. How do I see that?

Hello. I really didnt want to be that guy, but something about #46 seemed familiar. I instantly recognized it from https://www.reddit.com/r/DCcomics/comments/a89x7y/adventures_of_the_super_sons_8_textless_cover_by/

Because the original cover is made by an artist from my country, and he is really well known, he currently works for DC and Marvel. He is representing our country internationally with hard work by being an amazing artist and i couldnt let it slip seeing someone ripping off his art. Sorry to #46.

  Thanks Ricardo for pointing that out. This project, for me, is a gift for kids. Since I’m not in the industry, nor an artist, and don’t really follow comics (other than what’s made into a movie) I can’t tell what’s genuine and what’s being poached. I’m relying on people to be transparent and honest about their work. Your feedback along with anyone else’s is encouraged, important, and appreciated.

I just uploaded pictures of the boys, myself, and my wife. This is a superhero story and in this edition maybe it's a story where the parents come to help with some major crisis or enemy.... something like the X-men or Avengers- it's turns out to be a team effort. I even uploaded a picture of the family dog in case you want to incorporate that too. Looking forward to what you come up with!
