This contest is to find an artist to create up to 70 pieces of artwork of the same style and theme. The overall theme is Gnomes fighting each other in a bar brawl atmosphere. The artwork should not have unnecessary gore since the objective of the fight is to knock out (unconscious) and not kill. Gnomes are based on British folklore and the atmosphere should be Irish Pub/British garden. The artwork needs to be very comedic, detailed, and mature. You can do different ideas for each individual piece, but they should each be full of action. Please
Artwork size is: 5,7x5,5 cm. If you could do it larger and scale it down that would be great.
The Gnomes can look like typical pictures. However, they aren't all bearded and wearing the same clothes. Different ages, male, female, and clothing should all be seen through the art.
The target audience is for college aged people.
To win this contest create the 3 pieces of art listed below. These are some of the various methods the gnomes will be fighting one another.
---Steak knife. A human steak knife so it will be a lot larger compared to a gnome. This will demonstrate that all object will be different sizes and show a potential challenge of scaling correctly. Gnome are about 15 cm talk for scale.
---Slap. A gnome getting slapped.
---Poison oak. A gnome reacting to the poison oak.

Backgrounds should be outside in a human sized garden with gnome sized objects similar to what would be found in an Irish Pub (chairs, tables, beer mugs, etc.). Please keep scale of objects accurate

As the contest comes to an end I will be revising my ratings. 4 stars will be given to entries that have good consistent style, humor, and a proper understanding of the theme. 5 stars will only be given to entries that excel in all three of those categories.

Due to a large number of concerns about the award I will be making a slight change. The reward for this contest will remain the same. However, I will be open to discuss paying more for my larger project per piece with the winner of this contest. When you submit an entry please say how much of your time it cost for you to make that piece, and what price you believe create similar artwork in on a larger scale.

  That art style looks great. However that looks more like a dwarf than a gnome. I encourage you to create some sketches of the pieces I described.

The artwork should be clean and colorful when completed. i like your contest, but I think the prize is little low for 3 !!! "very comedic, detailed, and mature" artworks. Specially if there should be " bar brawl atmosphere" and a lot of action, wich to me say, many gnomes, not just two fighting, right? Please , #increaseprize

  Hello, thank you for your interest. For each piece it will only be one on one fighting. The reasoning for this price is that I am looking for a large project. At a minimum of 70 but probably closer to 100 pieces. This will be a $700-$1000 project after this contest. I encourage you to submit work that you believe is at the price level of $10 a piece.
