A new renewable energy company specializing in solar, carbon capture (CO2), and methane (CH4) technologies is looking for an original logo.

Our logo should embody the themes of vision, innovation, dependability, and efficiency. A color scheme utilizing yellow, orange, and gray is preferred. The company name will not be featured in the design. The logo should be usable for branding on websites, business cards (color), and letterhead (black and white).

We have done some initial brainstorming and come up with designs featuring modernized sun, wings, and triangles. Feel free to include those elements, but we would also like to see other interpretations. For this initial competition we are collecting ideas so please be creative and present designs that you think best fit the theme.

  I prefer not to mention the name of the company and it will not be included in the logo at this point. Think of this as a crowd sourced brainstorming session. It is an experiment on our part to see what people come up with given the criteria I mentioned. If there are a couple of designs we like, the intent is to use them as examples in a larger branding contest that will include business cards, website template, and a complete logo with company name.
