The whole image of the company (including colors) is to be changed/rebranded. So please don't suggest yourself with any colors you find on current website or elsewhere. Use any colors only if YOU want to use those colous. We don't have any color preferences. We are completely up to your vision. If you feel like using gold/black, use gold/black (but not because it's our current color).

Hello, I just made a really quick logo here (#1), I used the Volks Wagon logo like you suggested, I am not too sure on the colors you require, however this matches the gold/black style on your website, and will do well in both black & white and also in color. It can easily be made larger or smaller as needed. If you have any suggestions or preferences, please let me know, I am very happy to change the design as needed. :)
