     I blurred as an effect for camera. When you focus on something near, what is in the back of that something goes blurry. Now you know why is blurry! :)

  Guys and girls... wow!! Let me just point out a few things here... XX industries is a VERY small venture for me. I still have a full time job and this is simply a hobby that I am pursuing hence the small prize. Think of it what you will but I was specific with what I was after. Maybe I did put it in the wrong category but at the end of the day I am still very happy with some of the designs that came up. One of these designs will be used as the logo and that's that. I did state that I wanted a hot lady in the design but that's me thinking as a mechanic and not expecting something iconic. I'm not interested in the politics of it and if it and have never claimed to know anything about the industry. Thank you to those who provided what I was looking for even if you didn't agree with it.

     Personally I like your direction, I am an aussie chick and although I am not in a trade I have a few mates who are women and who would also like this idea. You haven't labelled anything wrong as far as I see, you asked for what you wanted from day dot and you have been really great with feedback and direction. I enter a lot of comps where our work just gets rejected with no hint of why and its always the same designers putting out the same stuff who win, so thats why I was quite happy to branch out and try this one- it has been challanging but as someone says further down i love using this site to learn and challange myself. So basically in a nut shell, I'm sorry that some of the activity on here has been negative, and I can see you'll probably have a tough choice. But hopefully you'll at least have choice :-) Cheers again ~Sarah

     If someone has used stock images by all means point them out (seems to be the go on Freelancer), but don%u2019t be negative about their work simply because you don%u2019t like it.
     
     As for my language, apologies if you were offended, however it was late and your comments and use of my work were not warranted and I feel that you brought this on yourself, you were making a point, as I did mine. If reporting me is your avenue of dealing then I%u2019ll have to cross that bridge, but don%u2019t rile me up and then threaten me for reacting.

     look the whole point MladenDjukic is trying to make is the ch is paying you to create his brand identity so a little creativity is wanted. and MladenDjukic you cant expect great things for less than $400 usd lol. i like the contest one here to maybe learn new tricks and have fun but the clip-art mania is ruining this site for both real designers and companies. but good luck everyone I'm just here as a lookie Lou

  Another ridiculous contest in a long line of ridiculous contests, where thoughtlessness reigns in favor of common sense. Those who've been talented enough to use their own skills and creativity, I applaud you. Well done, guys and girls. I hate to point the finger, but those who haven't (and you know who you are) need to be honest and prove yourselves to be as skilled as they say your are. Not just to us, but to the contest holder and Freelancer.

  Hi there sightsoundsoul, please see my entries #100 #101 #102 & #103 I would be very interested in what your feedback is and what you would like to see changed. The fonts can always be changed easily, are there any changes you would like to see done to the figure? I decided to go with a singlet (wifebeater- bonds tradie wear) as I felt this reflected the australian market more so. if desired this could be changed to a bluey?      Im an aussie and I wear blueys :-) so it was a natural progression for the character, Im in my last year of BA Graphic Design and as of yet we haven't covered a lot of 'illustration' type modules so I've tried my best with the figure but can refine it more if you need :-) ~Sarah
