Elizabeth McKinnon is a Melbourne (Australia) based Criminal Barrister/Criminal Lawyer.
Elizabeth provides criminal defence services to Australians charged with sex offences, criminal offences, drug charges, assault, fraud & theft, murder and manslaughter, as well as bail services.
Elizabeth is in need of a new logo that positions her as experienced, trustworthy, tough and extremely competent. Her logo should appear as solid, strong and simple but distinct.

TYPOGRAPHY
The client has a preference for Serif Fonts that convey a sense of trust, authority and strength. The client is open to sans-serif fonts, providing they convey similar authoritative tines. We are open to logos that combine both serif and sans-serif fonts. Sentence-case or all-caps is preferred – avoid lowercase-only text.
The client would like the logo to be text-only (no iconography), so would like to see some creative treatment applied to the type rather than just block lettering – for example, a mixture of weights, sizes, an accented treatment applied to the ‘E’ and ‘McK’ etc. Please see attached examples.

COLOUR
The client would like a logo that is predominantly black text for use on a white background. If a highlight/accent colour is included, they would like to go for a strong but vibrant blue (somewhere between royal blue and navy blue – not too dark/close to black).

LOGOMARKS / ICONOGRAPHY
The client does not want to include iconography or logomarks as part of this logo, but would prefer some creative/unique treatment applied to the typography. Please note – no delicate or overly decorative flourishes – the logo needs to look bold and direct.

PRESENTATION
The logo should be presented flat, on a white background - NO MOCKUPS - WE NEED TO ENSURE THE LOGO WORKS IN STANDARD PRESENTATION. Please do not submit multiple mockups of the same design. Any logo submitted should be easily configured to work against both dark and light backgrounds.
