Hi - This contest is to design a poster that goes inside a noticeboard. The poster provides information on fishing and angling at a specially designed area called a match fishing stretch which is used by anglers to hold fishing competitions. The purpose of the poster is to provide some background information on angling to visitors to the area.

The poster should be designed to be printed in full colour at A1 sheet size (59.4 x 84.1cm) but please note that the viewing window of the noticeboard is 56 x 80cm so the relevant information should be within this area. The orientation of the page will be portrait.

The text and images that need to be featured on the poster are in the attached .doc file. Other text and images may be included in the design but any stock images used should be royalty free and not have any copyright issues

The finished poster should be provided in .psd file format with the text in editable text layers to allow me to make changes to the wording if necessary. Alternative file formats may be acceptable if necessary.

The winning poster will be selected based on appealing layout and images, readability and imaginative design.

Images of fish do not correspond with the size of the poster. I could make from them a label for matches.

  Hi, yes ideally the poster will have all the info in the attached .doc file. If space is limited some of the fish species could be omitted or the text for each fish reduced to bullet points.

  Hi - I've added a zip file to the contest which contains higher res version of the fish species photos and the logos. Please work with these, I know some of them aren't great but if there's any issues with print quality I can work on getting higher quality versions later and swap them in myself. Thanks.
