Mountains to Sea Skincare is a natural bodycare company that works with herbalists, wildcrafters and farmers from across our local eco-region. We are scientists, naturalists and creatives dedicated to developing products that bring nature into peoples’ lives with natural essences and ingredients that celebrate ecosystems found in the Carolinas, from the Appalachian mountains to the Crystal Coast. In the past year, we have visually redesigned our product line from monochromatic white-on-black (see photos) to a fresh colored approach, using graphics derived from photos of the natural world (see photos). We are looking for assistance in migrating some of our more successful products from our old line (black paperboard tube shown) to the new look and feel of our freshly colored products.

This initial project is for

1) the redesign of the white-on-black paperboard tube for our Calendula + Lemon Balm Lotion Stick (pictured). The new design should be in a fresh color inspired by the color of Calendula flowers (bright yellow-to-orange) and/or lemonbalm (yellowish green) and should include a monochromatic graphic derived from a photo of Calendula. We are also interested in enlarging our logo for better readability and moving it onto the cap of the tube. The font used should be Din. We will also be making minor changes to the ingredient and use instructions shown. We will provide these changes after engaging.

2) We would like to make some simple changes to the purple and yellow Wild Mountain Honey Lip Balm paperboard tube (pictured). These changes will be limited to text mods and/or additions and the logo size and placement (enlarged and wrapping around top of the tube).

We hope that the applicant will have knowledge of shelf blocking in major US retailers such as Whole Foods Market, and will create designs with an awareness of how they will work in a crowded natural bodycare space. A successful first project may lead to redesign of other existing products and potentially the design of new ones.

Nice entries so far. To clarify, we really want the same style as the pictured Lip Balm tube and other products. Also for clarity, Calendula is Calendula officinalis.
