We need a Small Joomla website for Rackams waterfront restaurant and bar in the cayman islands.
Rackams has a website already, but it has become old and lacks good design. the site seems overcrowded as well.

only need the design of the page. No coding or integration necessary (yet)
I will do a separate competition for the building of the site once I have chosen the design

Rackams is a casual out door bar and restaurant that sits on the waterfront. It is Mostly wood and surrounded by plants.
The main colours of the location are brown (wood) and blue (marine) and a little white.
The bar is very busy at night and the restaurant is busy during the day.
The food we serve is Caribbean and international. a lot of fresh fish. we serve burgers and salads aswell. we sell local beer.
there are three parts to Rackams waterfront. the Bar, the restaurant and the lounge formally known as Cblu.
Rackams attracts a wide range of customers. Foreign tourists who arrive by cruse ship each day, or fly in for the week. rackams also has a lot of regular customers that live on the island and have been coming for many years. The bar has a very big scuba diver industry crowd as well.
We also do alot of private parties, staff parties and wedding receptions, It would be nice to promote this on the site.
Most of our customers like to visit the restaurant for the views of the ocean, good value food and socialising after work

Some things we would like the site to include:
Most of the information on our old site
Clear social network links
A landing page
Google maps widget on the contact us page
Space for tripavisor awards.
A clearer divide between the restaurant and bar
A well organised gallery page. for photos
Some advertising space (1or2)

I would like to build the site with CMS so I can update the site more frequently with photos and daily food specials.
I Have a basic understanding of joomla which is preferred but I am open to other possibilities like wordpress.

Hello all
I have extended the competition a few days. The best results I have seen so far have been simple in design and contain all the necessary data in a neat way. I like the designs that reflect the feel of the restaurant. laid back/casual island theme with wood. not the fine dining type. I also prefer the entries that involve real pictures of the restaurant and are complete with all 5 pages of the website.

This will be a fun one! Since I'm a bar and restaurant owner in the US and in the Philippines. I think I can come up with a good tropical and clean site. In my mind I think it is best to get rid of the pdf menu because of load times.
