    I added a file "Briefing II" which contains possible elemets for the main header/central frame. One colums is the German text, the other an english translation for your information.

    Start page navigation: There should only be three visible tabs: "Beratungsschwerpunkte", "Methoden & Instrumente" and "Über uns". Sub-navigation should be shown with mouse over. Only when clicking on one of the 2nd level tabs should a left side naviagtion appear.
    Logo: Please don't make it too large. You should also show the claim "Erkennen, was Kunden wirklich wollen" ("recognize what customers want").
    Central frame: You could play with the content of the central page of the brochure ("Antworten auf die entscheidenden Fragen = "Answers to decisive questions"). For example you can have the questions appearing or floating in a prominent area. But this is just one idea ...

    First impression: Apart from a fresh & friendly first impression it is important that the start page rapidly answers the most important questions of visitors: "What is this page about?" and "What do I get here and why should I stay?" Therefore (I think) you should use the claim and the answers/questions mentioned above.
    Photos: Not using any photos at all is not really emotional appealing.

    Mr. Thagel,

    No images were used, instead placeholders are used. Except menu, other texts are fictional. Two designs submitted. Homepage and also a level 2 page of 'Uber uns' where 'Beratungsansatz' sub menu is selected. Please let me know whether I could understand properly about your likings or not.
