Though I'm still at the early stages of my journey, I’ve developed a solid understanding of the basic tools and concepts used in modern music creation, including DAWs (primarily Ableton Live, Logic Pro X, and Pro Tools), MIDI sequencing, sampling, synthesis, and basic mixing techniques. In music production, I’ve begun crafting original tracks, focusing on genres like electronic, ambient, hip-hop, and experimental music. I’ve gained hands-on experience with arranging, layering sounds, building instrumentals, and shaping song structures. My workflow continues to evolve as I learn how to better translate my ideas into full compositions, experimenting with tempo, rhythm, harmony, and dynamics. I’m also learning the value of referencing, critical listening, and balancing creativity with technical structure. As a beginner sound designer, I enjoy working with both found sounds and synthesized tones. I’ve started exploring subtractive synthesis, FM synthesis, and sample manipulation using both stock and third-party plugins. Designing drum kits, pads, leads, and atmospheric textures is an area that particularly excites me. I often use resampling, effects processing, and automation to create evolving sounds, and I’m learning how sound design ties directly into mood, storytelling, and genre identity. My technical knowledge is still expanding, but I have a growing comfort level with concepts like EQ, reverb, delay, compression, and basic signal flow. I’m gradually becoming more fluent in using tools like Serum, Vital, and stock synths, as well as layering and tweaking sounds to create more depth and originality. I’m also learning how to organize project sessions efficiently and export mixes for different use cases. Outside the technical side, I’m constantly developing my creative ear—analyzing the work of producers I admire, studying arrangement and sound palette choices, and learning how to bring emotional impact to my own work. Collaboration, feedback, and continuous learning are a key part of my growth mindset. I’ve also started exploring the basics of field recording and foley, as well as audio for visual media, which has helped me appreciate the broader role of sound in storytelling. I see myself not just as a beginner, but as someone deeply invested in the process of becoming fluent in both the musical and technical languages of sound. Every session I work on brings me closer to that fluency, and I’m excited to continue honing my skills, deepening my understanding, and developing a unique creative voice in both music production and sound design ít hơn
