I have 2 x excel spreadsheets here that are used to calculate pay rates for drivers based on where they drive etc. The main spreadsheet itself is only 127kb but has a pile of macros etc, then there is a driver timesheet spreadsheet (108kb) which has the rates for each run (no macros in this one). I have an excel report that contains data for a number of projects for a number of months However the report is set up so that when a project contains 0 cost for a month, it does not create a column with zeroes, it simply does not create a column. I would like a macro that will loop through all of the projects and find the project with the most monthly columns, and ensure all projects replicate this structure. I am prevented from recording a macro in WORD 2010 by the following: "The function you are attempting contains a macro or requires macro language support. When this software was installed, you (or your administrator) chose not to install support for macros or controls". I have had no problem recording or running macros in he past in the past, but have just moved from a PC to laptop (Windows 10) and now have problems recording macros. I do not use macros in Excel 2010, but I notice the VB, Macro and Record Macro in my Excel 2010 are all greyed out.
