I need to fit a cosine signal and calculate the amplitude and phase shift. I'm trying to perform all these calculations in Matlab with several time series, but some results are incoherent. I want to perform these calculations and learn how to do it. This is not difficult for someone who is used to working with sine/cosine signals.
