We are looking for an easier way to upload photos for slideshows in different pages in WordPress. The slideshow we are using is jQuery supersized for full screen slideshow. At present, we have it implemented by a custom post type named slider items. This allows us to create different posts with featured image being the image we want to appear. Please refer to , this site is a combination of Supersized Background Slideshow, Simple Accordian Menu and Lightbox. When I click on the links, (eg Collection, About, and etc.) a light box would pop up to show further content. However the background slidshow is still moving. Although the supersized js has api (toggle play/paused) written within in, I can't seems to get it working. My intention is that, when someone click on the links, light box pop up, the background slideshow would stop moving, and when they closed the light box, it would start moving again. Preferably using as much API as possible with the supersized js script.

Ive got a site drawn up and ive started to code it but im having trouble getting the slider to work. Ive built it using html/css and the slider(jquery) im using is a full screen background slider called supersized - The problem im having is i can get the slider to run full screen responsive, but i want a side nav along the left hand side so i want the slider to run full height and full width -155px (to allow for the side bar). Idealy what id do is use {width: calc(100% -150px); width: -moz-calc(100% - 150px); width: -webkit-calc(100% - 150px);} But its not fully supported yet ... Another solution that dosnt work is making the slider a fixed width, or a percentage width as you have to take into account the sidebar, so making the slider float:right;
