I meshed the solid body with triangles but in the job running it encountered with an unmeshed volume. the model is built in Simulia Abaqus 2022. deliverables: 1. fix the project so running of the job will will go through without errors. 2. explain what you did.

I have included the Flanges drawing to build the Abaqus Model. The Flange connects the riser's bottom part to a spool. According to the attached spec, the only thing that needs to be modelled is both parts of the flange. I suggest building the left and right parts of the flange separately and then the gasket and stud bolts separately. Once done, then define a contact area to connect the parts. One can use Pre-load-tensioning for the bolts.

Hi, We have a semi-ellipsoid shape with a rigid body indentor. The indentor inserts an 8 mm sine displacement into the ellipsoid. I have simulated half of the shape as it is asymmetric. I got an error while submitting the job and I would appreciate it if you could resolve the error. I need the completed job, and all the files including Cae, jnl and inp files. Thanks

Hello, I would like to carry out a torsion test with the component group shown in the appendix. The jaws should be rigid bodies and the specimen made of steel. I would like to hold one side of the jaws and rotate the other side 4-8 degrees. I also need the Abaqus file so I can edit the simulation.

I am trying to write the VUMAT for hill plasticity , i have written the code and it is working for single element. when i am trying on full model of composite with layers i am getting an error of excessive distortion. so i could not not figure it out whether it is problem with code or modelling of composite plate.

hi i got my abaqus model look like joint mechanical interlock with metal to composite with adhesive layer in between which I already applied all essential information, such as material, geometry, mesh, etc, but apparently my analysis is aborted after i applied interaction and hashin criterion. So, I just want someone to fix my error and make a further analysis on the same procedure with 4 more model which i havn't create yet but it's look exactly the same (3 of them changing radius only one part to see the effect of changing design parameter and one is take the adhesive layer off to see the effect of having adhesive layer). The model is very simple and it doest take long and hard to change the sketch. i need it on 5 of october 2022
