I need to call Lit Protocol from the Polygon chain purely for data encryption and decryption, while signing every interaction with an ordinary Ether wallet—no dedicated Lit wallet should ever be required. Here is what I have in mind: • A minimal smart-contract setup on Polygon that can trigger Lit’s JS SDK for encrypting and later decrypting data. • Front-end or script examples that let me sign those calls with any standard EVM wallet (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, etc.) so long as the user never has to create or fund a Lit wallet. • Clear, step-by-step deployment notes so I can replicate the flow in testnet and mainnet, plus concise code comments referencing the Lit nodes, auth sig generation, and the specific Polygon RPC endpoints used.
