I have a set of hand-drawn concept sketches for a sheet-metal sculpture that will stand roughly one metre high and be cut from 1.6 mm aluminium. What I need now is a production-ready digital package that a laser-cutting shop can drop straight onto the bed with no further cleanup. Your task • Translate the sketches into clean 2 D DXF profiles, taking sheet thickness into account and breaking the form into practical parts where necessary. • Work in any mainstream CAD platform you prefer—AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or similar—so long as the exported DXF is error-free. • Add basic assembly / fit-up information such as alignment tabs, slots or other locating features so fabrication on the shop floor is straightforward. • Include a concise PDF drawing that shows key overall dimensions and part IDs. • If you can, attach a simple 3 D view or lightweight CAD model so I can visualise how the flat parts come together before we press go on the cutter.
