Which local authority will you submit to, and are there constraints (conservation area, Article 4, listed status, flood zone) that must be reflected on the drawings and notes? Do you already have OS-based site/location data for the 1:1250 and 1:500 plans, or should I source licensed mapping and confirm red/blue line ownership extents? Include validation-ready location and block plans with boundary offsets, northing, and proposed footprint hatched; this prevents the most common validation rejections. Set up the DWG with UK layer standards, consistent origins, and view templates so future Building Control details and optional 3D massing can be produced quickly from the same model. Action Plan: - Day 0: Receive hand-drawn survey, sketches, and photos; confirm materials, roof form, openings. - Day 1–2: Trace/scale existing ground and first floor plans and elevations; issue PDF check set. - Day 3–4: Draft proposed plans/elevations at 1:100/1:50 with key dims, levels, room labels; first floor shown unchanged. - Day 5: Prepare 1:1250/1:500 plans, title blocks, north arrows, scale bars; QA against LPA validation list. - Day 6–7: Deliver planning-portal-ready PDFs and editable DWG; rapid minor tweaks if needed for validation.
