Hi MaceyProperties, This is quite similar to a project I delivered last week, so I can jump straight into execution. Ready to start immediately. Two questions: 1) Should the electrical and plumbing reflect existing as-built or a proposed spec—e.g., ring/radial circuits per BS 7671, CU location/RCBOs, boiler/cylinder position, soil/vent stacks and pipe sizes? 2) Confirm preferred print scale and detail: 1:50 at A3 with wall thicknesses and door swing directions, or 1:100? Suggestions: Adopt BS 1192/ISO 19650 layer naming and keep power, lighting, fire, data, hot/cold, waste, and gas on separate layers with dynamic blocks and a keyed legend for clean toggling and quick revisions. Add unique IDs and compact schedules (circuit loads and breaker sizes; pipe materials/diameters and valve tags) to reduce RFIs and future-proof against regulatory changes. Action Plan: 1) Intake: review sketches, measurements, photos; confirm assumptions and datum/north. 2) Base plan: draft both floors to scale; show wall types; label rooms with W×L to 0.1 m; insert doors/windows; add north arrow. 3) Services: overlay electrical and plumbing on their layers; place CU/boiler; route circuits/runs; build legend. 4) QA: cross-check dims; A3 print test; compliance sanity check (HMO/fire symbols). 5) Deliverables: A3 PDF at 1:50 and DWG/DXF with layers/plot styles; one refinement pass within 5–7 days. I'm a civil engineer and I've been working with AutoCAD for over 20 years, so taking your sketches and notes to produce a clean and accurate 2D plan is something I do all the time. I'll draw both floors at metric scale, with every room dimensioned to the millimeter and doors and windows clearly marked.
