The personalization for each hero stands out as the part that usually decides whether the cards feel special or just generic. I typically pull one detail from the character backstory or class into the border so it fits without overpowering the main art. I have done border sets for a couple of tabletop RPG campaigns where matching the frame to different personalities and themes was the main challenge. My process starts with rough pencil concepts for the four borders, then moves to final illustration once you pick directions. I can also handle the extra item or armor designs in the same style if needed later. Send the character descriptions or any existing card templates and I can have initial sketches back quickly. Files would be high-res layered PSD plus print-ready versions.
