I’m developing a carbon-fiber co-axial hexacopter and need a complete 3D CAD model of the main frame together with matching landing gear. Alongside the geometry, I also want full structural verification: stress, vibration and fatigue analyses that clearly demonstrate the design’s safety margins. The frame/structure should be able to sustain 125kg MTOW (maximum take off weight) or 100Kg payload. It should also be able to sutain 3-4g crash pressure so it does not break on soft crash or hard landing. Here’s how I picture the workflow: once the overall layout is agreed, you’ll create the solid and sheet-like components, define realistic laminate schedules for the carbon parts, assign representative fasteners and joints, then run finite element simulations to expose peak stresses, mode shapes and expected life cycles. The FEA results should feed back into the model, so if we have to tweak wall thicknesses, rib patterns or motor-arm interfaces, we do it iteratively until all three criteria pass with comfortable factors of safety. Because I’ll be taking these files straight into manufacturing, native files from SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or CATIA are acceptable, but please export STEP and STL versions as well. For the analyses, ANSYS, Abaqus or the built-in simulation suite is fine as long as you include the project files so I can reproduce the results. Deliverables: • Parametric CAD assembly of the hexacopter frame and landing gear • FEA reports covering stress, vibration (modal) and fatigue, with annotated screenshots and raw result files • A short design memo summarizing material choices, assumed loads, boundary conditions and achieved safety factors • Final STEP, STL and native CAD files, neatly organised I’m ready to supply motor specs, battery weight and expected payload the moment we start.
